Depression, anxiety, and trauma can be overwhelming, and I want to strive to help those experiencing such difficult feelings. I received my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Illinois, and am a Licensed Social Worker.
My goal is to help you build a coping toolbox. I believe when we have well-built toolboxes, we can choose which tool is needed for everyday life stressors and build that psychological flexibility to handle whatever life might throw at us. I also believe that taking care of your mental health is just as important as your physical health, as the two are interconnected. I utilize techniques from DBT, CBT, Trauma Informed therapy, and Strengths Based approaches to help restore your inner peace. I also offer play therapy for my younger clients.
