Jack Jordan, CMA

My name is Jack and I'm part of the Psychiatry team at Grit and Grace, as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA). I'm originally from Weldon, but I first moved to Champaign County to attend classes at Parkland College. Majoring in Criminal Justice, I transferred to complete my bachelor's degree at WIU Macomb before a brief stint in law enforcement. My time in the field was eye opening on many levels, and it led me to discover that the service I was most drawn to was caring for the people in my charge. Recognizing this, I transitioned out of law enforcement and into healthcare as a CNA and eventually CCMA.
For the last 10 years, I've been involved in healthcare within Champaign County at various levels focusing on outpatient care. I have worked in the majority of clinical disciplines and departments within medicine as I looked for the best way to serve my community.
At Grit and Grace, I am a contact point for medication refills, prior-authorizations, and questions for your provider. I also assist our clients with Spravato and TMS treatments. When I'm not here, I'm typically at the gym, writing, reading, or plotting how to make a career move related to giant monsters (think Godzilla).
