Jodi Juenger, PMHNP-BC

I am a board-certified Nurse Practitioner and am dually certified in Family and Psychiatric medicine. Initially, I obtained my Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) Degree in 2013, as I was unsure of what area of medicine I was interested in. All I knew was that I had a burning desire to improve my patients' overall health and well-being through independent practice. In April 2014, I began my practice as a full-time FNP in a community mental health center. I knew from my first day that this was where I belonged and had zero doubt that this was the area of medicine I wanted to practice for the rest of my career. In 2019 while working full-time in urgent care, I began thinking it was time to start my journey as an independent Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner; therefore, I enrolled back in school to obtain a Post Master’s Degree as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
As a PMHNP, an individual must be treated as a whole and not by illness alone. Our mind, body, and spirit must be treated collectively to foster our mental and physical health needs. I pride myself on treating the whole being and thoroughly listening to my patients, as they are the ones who assist me in providing the highest-quality care. I am respectful, understanding, and uncritical. I do this because I genuinely care. I truly want to help you feel like your old self again. I want to help break down the barriers and the stigma that still exists in mental health illnesses today.
I am looking forward to meeting and working with you.
