Paige Wilson, LSW
Hi, I’m Paige! I am a Licensed Social Worker and a proud graduate of the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. I earned my Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Family Services. I’ve grown up in the Champaign/Mahomet area my entire life and am thankful to now serve the community that shaped me.
My professional background includes work within the child welfare system where I was able to help families navigate familial conflict, the court system, monitor the safety of abused/neglected children, and assist caregivers in overcoming domestic violence, gang violence, and substance abuse. I also have a background in crisis management. These experiences have given me a special focus on helping children and adolescents who have experienced trauma, but I am passionate about walking alongside all young people as they navigate the many challenges that life throws at them. My goal is always to help children heal and grow so they can embrace what is most important: simply enjoying their childhood!
I strive to create a safe space where my clients can speak freely without fear of being judged. I take a client-centered approach while also providing practical tools and skills to improve their quality of life, gain confidence, and eventually learn to practice independence.
As a Christian, I’m able to integrate faith-based perspectives into therapy for clients who find that meaningful. I also fully respect and support clients who prefer a non-religious approach—your values and preferences guide the work we do together.
No matter where your child is in their journey, I believe there is always hope and opportunity for growth. I deeply value the family unit and it’s a privilege to walk alongside families as they navigate the difficult parts, all while celebrating the victories. I look forward to being a trusted support for you and your child.
